Getting Started
Early Days was founded in 2012 by moms and birth professionals from West Seattle who wanted to create a place for new moms to talk about the realities of motherhood. The MotherWoman Perinatal Support Group format we use helps create a safe space for us to talk about everything from the mundane to the life changing moments we experience as moms.
The Early Days Team
Meg Gluckman, Founder, Lead Facilitator
Meg is the mom of 2-year old cutie-pie Sky and a postpartum doula. In her pre-baby life, she worked in the solar & wind energy industry and got her Masters in Sustainable Business. These days she's passionate about supporting women through the transformational process of becoming a mother, participating in her neighborhood babysitting co-op, attempting to finish reading a grown-up book, and learning the art of toddler negotiation.
Laurie Ufer, Facilitator
Laurie is a wife, mother of two grown sons, and a grandmother of two sweet granddaughters. Before becoming a birth and postpartum doula, she was a travel agent for over 25 years. Now, she's found what rewards her heart: helping families bond and nurturing them through the process of parenthood. She finds it very rewarding to see their confidence grow and manage what life brings to them. Of course, snuggling with adorable little babies is super precious, too!
